Cameron Jacobs is excellent at what he does. He loves his job as a waiter in one of the best restaurants in New York. Lately, much of his attention has been taken up by a mysterious customer who comes into Tuesdays once a week. The man always comes in alone and sits in Cameron’s section and he never says a word. The only thing Cameron knows for sure is that he is a friend of the owner. Cameron is fascinated by the mysterious man and finds himself looking forward to the days when the man comes into the restaurant.

By necessity, Julian Cross leads an extremely solitary life. His safety and the safety of the few people he cares about depend on his ability to be unpredictable and his ability to do whatever is necessary to get the job done. He knows it is dangerous to give into his attraction for Cameron but he finds that he just can’t stay away from the captivating young man, even if that means putting them both in danger.

This novel grabbed my interest from the very first sentence. The mystery surrounding Julian is captivating and every time a new clue about was revealed I found myself wanting to know more. Cameron is a very appealing character. He is just a normal sort of guy leading a good but very ordinary life until Julian walks into it. I empathized with his feelings about Julian as well. It is difficult to know that someone you love is in constant danger. Julian and Cameron’s relationship is intense but very believable. I enjoyed the intriguing twists and turns of the plot. Ms, Urban and Ms. Roux are to of my favorite authors and their latest collaboration WARRIORS CROSS is a thrilling and absorbing suspense novel.
