Caesar Romano's life has recently undergone many changes.  He has gone from a thankless job as an art gallery manager to running a catering company with his best friend. More importantly, he is no longer single. He is in a relationship with Private Investigator  Dan Albright  a gorgeous and kind man who seems to care for Caesar just the way he is. However, their relationship is not without problems.  Dan wants to take his boyfriend home to meet his parents but Caesar is worried that things might be moving too fast. He just doesn't know how to tell Dan.

In addition, Caesar has a party to plan for over seventy people and only two days to do it. The job also means he is forced to endure close contact with his ex-boyfriend, Shep. Someone that he can barely stand. He is surprised to learn that Dan has been hired to protect a German soap star who just happens to be hiding out  in Shep's guest room. Caesar isn't happy about his old boyfriend and his new boyfriend spending time together but what can he do?

Caesar is well known for getting into trouble and it isn't long before Caesar finds himself  knee deep in another case.

TRUST ME IF YOU DARE is the second novel in LB Gregg's hilarious and thrilling ROMANO AND ALBRIGHT series. I absolutely loved the first novel in the series CATCH ME IF YOU CAN so I was very excited to read the sequel. I was not disappointed. Caesar is still as funny as ever and the cast of supporting characters are also as vibrant and unconventional as I remembered. Reading this book felt like visiting with good friends.

Despite all the changes in his life, Caesar hasn't changed much. He still has a knack for getting himself into crazy situations and into all kinds of trouble. His antics never fail to make me laugh. It's all Dan can do to keep up. Dan is exactly what Caesar needs. he is a strong and steady presence and he helps to ground Caesar but he also loves Caesar just the way he is. Their relationship is new but it feels very real and long lasting. I enjoyed seeing their relationship deepen and strengthen. This novel has a quick pace but I found it easy to follow. The plot is intriguing. There are several things happening and the different plot lines kept me on my toes. I couldn't wait to find out how it was all connected. TRUST ME IF YOU DARE is an exciting and amusing sequel and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
