Someone is sending Lily cryptic messages. Someone who knows her from another lifetime. Lily wasn’t always involved in church. At one time her life revolved around her rock band and she did whatever she thought would make her group successful. Her abusive boyfriend died years ago, but not before she’d made some of the worst decisions of her young life.
With his death, she left all she knew and started a new life. She came to know God personally and through this love, began again. But now it’s over--someone from her past has found her. She is not going to allow this stalker to destroy the people she’s come to know and love. And Greg will never understand she was a drug user, not when he lost his first wife in an accident caused by someone under the influence of illegal substances.
SHADOWS AT THE WINDOW is a thought provoking book. Linda Hall has taken the reader to the very edge in this suspense. Lily has a past she wants to hide but in building a relationship with Greg, she can’t hold back. Greg, too, must learn and grow. While he preaches love and forgiveness, he’s never forgiven his wife’s killer. He’s never seen them as a human, a hurting person with regrets. It is an emotional journey for both of them. This book is very thought provoking. Ms. Hall does a great job at showing a situation from all sides and delving into the natural tendency people have to prejudge others. This is a heavy book, but well worth the read.
