Isabella Buchanan had lived her life looking through rose-colored glasses until her once beloved father and husband, ripped them off by introducing her to the life of sex-slavery. Barely managing to escape, Isabella tried to generate a life on her own by hiding in plain sight as a TV dance instructor. But, the nightmares from the past refused to leave her alone. Will she be able to trust Razor, her new dance partner/police officer, to keep her safe or by association, has she put his life in danger?
Wow! I found RAZOR’S EDGE to be a thrilling second installment in Jayne Rylon’s Men in Blue series. Having had the pleasure of reading the introductory novel to this series, I can daringly say Ms. Rylon has a winner on her hands. I was completely suspended on the edge of my seat from start to finish with pure excitement. The plot just blew me away! There were so many shocking twisters, spine-tingling suspense and devilish sexual play. I just had to keep reading until the conclusion emerged. Razor had my heart from his cameo appearance in NIGHT IS DARKEST and I was so delighted to learn more about his character as a leading man and the very special woman that would restore his self worth. Isabella proved to be that woman and much more. Although, she had lived a very sheltered life, that didn’t stop her from trying to reach her goals nor going after the man who had stolen her heart. I can’t wait to get my greedy, little hands on Ms. Rylon’s next electrifying installment that will feature fellow officer and computer geek, JRad.
While, RAZOR’S EDGE can be read as independent novel, I would recommend reading NIGHT IS DARKEST for additional enjoyment pleasure.
