After the devastating loss of his infant son, then the downfall of his marriage, Tom McMillian never thought that he would be attracted to another woman, especially another cop. Yet, without realizing it, Celia St. John brought forth feelings that Tom thought would remain in a dormant state for eternally. 

 

As the passion between Celia and Tom heated up into a frenzied inferno, so did Celia’s investigation into a black market baby adoption ring that left an infant dead. The closer Celia got to solving the mystery the more her life was in danger. 

 

MEMORIES OF US was a commanding, thrilling read that kept me hanging on to the edge of my seat until the dramatic conclusion. From the passion showcased between Celia and Tom to the suspenseful criminal aspect, I was on an emotional rollercoaster that never paused for an instant. I loved Tom’s stubbornness to protect Celia at all costs,  yet she was the experienced detective and he was the district attorney. Overall, MEMORIES OF US had an abundant plot with numerous twists and surprising turns that fulfilled and engrossed me until the very end.
