Kaylie Fletcher is heading to Alaska to face the demons of her past and try to discover the fates of her long estranged family. They had been thought to be lost during a climbing accident on Mount McKinley but Kaylie receives a cryptic message stating that her mother is alive. The last thing in the world she needs is a risk it all bush pilot to escort her.

Enter the risk it all, always in control bush pilot Cort McClaine. A mutual friend hires him to pick Kaylie up and bring them to their cabin but before they can even leave the ground, Kaylie discovers a message on her phone telling her not to come, ending with her friend’s fear-filled screams.

Flying in the face of a fierce snowstorm, and both fighting their attraction to the other, Kaylie and Cort arrive at the cabin only to discover the bodies of their friends. But when they return with the authorities, the bodies are gone and there is no evidence of murder. Kaylie and Cort discover they can only truly trust one another and begin their own investigation. It becomes chillingly obvious that Kaylie is being stalked and is the obvious target.

Alaska has never had it so hot when Kaylie and Cort put their differences aside and trust their attraction to one another. Their hearts are tested and join together even as they face one peril after another, each more chilling than the next. Will they live long enough to have a future?
