When Dianna Kelley has a bad car accident, she never expects it to reunite her with her one-time fiancé, hotshot firefighter, Sam MacKenzie. Ten years ago they were in love and expecting a baby but then everything changed and to Sam’s mind, she took off on him. But hearing about her car accident sends him racing to her bedside. Unfortunately, the news keeps getting worse for Dianna. Someone has kidnapped her younger sister, April, and Dianna is desperate to get her back.

Sam did not expect to go on a rescue mission when he re-entered Dianna’s life, but he is not about to let her take off after her sister on her own, in bad shape from a car accident. So despite his rocky past with Dianna, Sam will help. He knows the wilderness, knows how to navigate the mountains and forests. As these two set off on their rescue mission, old feelings are rehashed and new feelings come to light. But will they truly be able to put the past behind them for a more promising future together?

HOT AS SIN is fraught with emotional tension and unresolved feelings. Dianna and Sam have a long way to go but with the scary situation involving Dianna’s sister, feelings come to fruition faster than normal. However, Sam is not over Dianna’s abandonment ten years ago, and Dianna is not over how Sam just seemed to leave her alone after the miscarriage. Their differences are not irreconcilable but they will have to work hard to make a better future together. Set against a grueling and wild environment, with time against them, Sam and Dianna are facing a very tenuous situation. Bella Andre’s second firefighter book is a satisfying suspense and romance story.
