Evangeline ‘Eve’ Hollis and her fellow Mark classmates were attending a week long training course that was designed to hone in on their hunting/fighting skills and, more importantly, for them to function as a team in order to complete the important mission at hand. Readers, EVE OF DESTRUCTION picked right up where EVE OF DARKNESS left off, so I would strongly suggest read this thrilling trilogy series in release date order.

In this story, Eve was becoming more accustomed to her Mark abilities, like she had been born with it. No matter how hard she tried to deny it, it had become second nature for her to think as a true Mark hunter. Eve’s trade really came to the forefront as she tried to map out the evilness that was murdering her colleagues. In addition to murderous mayhem, Eve was also struggling with her emotions towards both Cain and Abel. She was extremely attracted to both men in a lustful, sexual manner which only added more fuel to their love triangle. Poor Eve! It was hard enough to be in love with one man; but, to have two equally handsome, powerful men was sufficient to drive anyone insane. With the heated tension escalating and death around every corner, EVE OF DESTRUCTION was an exhilarating, compelling read!  I eagerly await Ms. Day’s final installment in this electrifying trilogy.
