Jordan Bliss will not rest until Miguel, the Venezuelan orphan child that she is in the process of adopting, is back in her arms. Jordan had come so close to having Miguel in America with her until he was forced from her arms, not by the guerillas that were trying to take over Venezuela but by the Navy Seals that had came to rescue her.

Navy Seal Solomon McGuire had his orders and it was his job to follow them to the letter, right or wrong. Knowing that did not make it any easier to live with himself; Solomon of all people knew what it felt like to have a child taken away. He also knew the desperate cries that haunted his dreams and the guilt that was burning in his stomach would not lesson until he did everything in his power to help Jordan bring Miguel home.

Jordan could not believe that the man who was responsible for tearing Miguel out of her arms was actually asking her for help. If she was not so desperate for money she wouldn’t even consider it but with time running out Jordan was out of options. As hard as Jordan tried to deny it she could not resist the desire that sparked between them every time Solomon touched her. Even though Jordan might be willing to give in to her desires, forgiveness and trust are entirely different emotions that Jordan can not give into so easily. Can Solomon convince Jordan to trust him enough to make all her dreams come true?

DON’T LET GO is the fifth book in Marliss Melton’s navy Seals series but it can definitely stand alone. I have actually not read the first four books but am desperately trying to hunt them down now that I have read this one. Along with Jordan and Solomon there is a whole array of characters that bring this breathtaking suspenseful story to life. While so many characters and different stories might seem to be a little complex, I felt like the story flowed well and I had no problem keeping up. If I had a problem with anything it was putting this book down, DON’T LET GO is definitely a page turner. Marliss Melton is an author that knows what her readers like and I can’t wait to read more.
