Bella is a sassy young lady with a curious mind.  She has an eccentric family who loves to laugh and do things together.   After picking her great-aunts up from the airport, she discovers that her crazy great-uncle has left the big mansion to them.  In order for them to inherit the house, they must discover all the clues and find the treasure that he has left to them.

Bella loves a mystery and is determined to solve the foolish rhymes her great-uncle Desmond has left them.  With the help of her friends, family and some of the folks in town, Bella discovers that her family has many secrets from the past.  She also realizes that there is more to the family home than just bedrooms and bathrooms.

Will Bella, family and friends discover the great secret before it is too late?  Or will they discover items and information better left buried?

CHARADES WITH A LUNATIC is a charming mystery that will have you laughing at every turn.  I laughed so hard my sides hurt, but I had to keep going to find out what would happen next.  Thea Phipps pens a unique tale with charismatic characters entwined into an intriguing plot that will keep you turning the pages quickly.  Although CHARADES WITH A LUNATIC is not a typical romance, it does have a few quirky beginnings of budding romances. 

Bella is a lovely lass with a lot of delightful traits.  She loves her family and friends whole-heartedly.  She is courageous, even though half the time she finds herself falling through walls and wrestling with dead things.  I absolutely adored every one of the characters in this charming tale.  They are unique, quirky and a lot of fun to learn about.  They really added a lot of zing to CHARADES WITH A LUNATIC.
