The road to adulthood is a big struggle for Lizabeth Horville. She’s just turned eighteen and is butting heads with her father over her latest boyfriend. The celebration isn’t the reason he’s visiting the town though. Jubal is on a mission - his goal is to find the son his father left behind years ago and reunite them before their father dies. Meeting Lizabeth puts an interesting twist to the whole ordeal because not only is she the perfect woman for him, but she’s also the daughter of the man he’s come here to find. Lizabeth will have to face her fears and be honest with herself and those who love her or she may risk losing Jubal forever. Things are downright hot in Louisiana and I’m not talking about the weather or the cooking! Lizabeth is a bold young woman who knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. While Jubal may be everything that Lizabeth ever wanted or hoped for in a man, he’s also honorable and insists on her being honest with her family. This is a family that reader’s will love reading about and clamor for more. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to read more - the third book in this series, WHEN LIGHTENING STRIKES will be released in early July 2007. |
