Matthew Frank’s life is seemingly perfect. He has a nice house with a lovely wife and twin girls. He is an up and coming sex therapist with a popular news column and a hit book on the shelves. He even has a mistress and an ex-lover pining for him. To him, he is living the American Dream.

But as clients tell him their darkest secrets, Matthew starts contemplating his own. He is introduced to a woman as a client, who falsely accuses him of rape because he turns her advances down. His perfect life takes a turn and he is soon finding his friends and enemies are not so easily identified, though the charges are unfair. What’s a man to do when his dream is about to go up in flames?

AMERICAN DREAM is an interesting erotic tale. CS LeMone gives a candid view of a man’s “perfect” life. I enjoyed the writing and the conflict between the characters. Matthew is a likable character, though he makes mistakes. AMERICAN DREAM is not a story to pass up.
