At the archduke’s reception, a young Andre fell under the spell of a malicious sorceress who cursed him with her wicked ways. He lost the true love of his life, his precious Belle, and would forever be haunted by her memory.

Two hundred years later, Belinda Seward and her boyfriend have car trouble and are stranded outside a remote Gothic priory. Taking shelter in the estate’s folly, Belinda experiences a sensuous force that she can't explain or deny. Something of the paranormal is lurking within the hauntingly peculiar priory. Something that is calling to her.

The two meet up with Andre von Kastel, owner of the priory. Neither expected the lavish lifestyle in which he lives or the unexpected plans he has for them both. In a world of uninhibited passion and the influence of sexual alchemy, Belinda is exposed to her most secret desires and the desires of Andre, which borderline obsessive love as he mourns the one he lost.

GOTHIC BLUE is like a relentlessly intense rollercoaster. The characters are strong and while the story holds a lot of eroticism, it is tastefully intermingled with an enticing plot. Portia da Costa is a master at writing spicy, titillating tales about strong women and their men. GOTHIC BLUE is a great paranormal read for those looking for something different in this popular genre.
