Her instructions are to get in and get out quickly. The demons aren’t allowed to touch her but that doesn’t make this delivery any easier. Her biggest fear is being trapped in hell and when the doors close behind her, to prevent do-gooders or Hall Monitors from getting in, her anxiety level rises quickly. She maintains her professionalism and quickly unloads the packages for the Hell occupants then bravely puts out her hand hoping for a tip to the demon waiting just out of sight. Unfortunately she doesn’t realize that her open palm is a signal that she’d be receptive to his sexual advances.
Cha’horz demon Zarakion normally guards the border of Hell is just filling in at the drop point for now. He never expected he’d encounter an elf like Taryn who reminds him of a delicate snowflake – or at least what he perceives a snowflake would be. He’s well aware that his size and general appearance is a little scary so he’s stunned that Taryn actually offers to have sex with him. He’s quick to take her up on her offer until she grabs ahold of his largest horn which has a direct link to his manly bits. However, there’s no denying her allure – or the fact that she really deserves a tip – and his forked tongue can more than deliver one she’ll never forget – and long for in the future.
It’s easy to see Hell as a place to avoid at all costs but Ayla Ruse makes paying it a visit seem almost desirable. Taryn is obviously excited about her new job but more than a little apprehensive about her first delivery – and with good reason. Zarakion might be a demon but there’s something very lovable about him that makes you keep your fingers crossed that somehow he’ll find a way to keep seeing Taryn. ZARAKION’S TIP is unexpectedly delightful just because the characters and the setting are so unique. The sexual interactions are deliciously hot and imaginative. This is one of those stories that you enjoy enough to hope the author plans to write stories that will allow us to revisit Zarakion and Taryn again in the near future.
