Charlotte Swanson is a witch. She works in her cousin, Emilie's shop, Mystikal Excursions, while she's on her honeymoon. Charlotte is also staying at her cousin's apartment. She is plagued with an uneasy feeling ever since she came back to Cypress Park, she has a feeling someone is watching her? Who could that be?

Brant Maddox works in the store, Maddox Hardware just two doors down from Mystikal Excursions.  He meets Charlotte while she is trying to cast a spell to alleviate her feelings of unease.  She hides what she actually did by saying she had lost her keys then actually finding them in her purse.

Vance Garrison is being plagued by nightmares to the point of losing sleep.  Something has got to give and give soon or he will lose it.  Vance is Charlotte's cousin by marriage through his brother Daniel and her cousin Emilie.  Charlotte has changed his life when he saved her from lycanthropy.

dreams of a sexual nature with werewolves, which, according to Vance, should not be happening. Vance keeps having dreams of Bethany, his former girlfriend turned wolf. They were leaders of a small pack. Who or what is making Charlotte so uneasy? Why haven't any of her spells to determine what's wrong, work? How does Vance's dreams play into this mystery?

I really enjoyed WOLFSBANE 2:  LEADER OF THE PACK.  Unraveling its mysteries of both plot and characters is intriguing.  Ms. Colgan wields a sense of magic into her words then weaves them into a believable tale.  All of my favorite elements were involved in the telling of this story.  A good over evil fight and shape shifting abilities just tightened them into a neat package that if it were live would be sitting upon my keeper shelf.
