Faust, an alcohol-blood drink, is quickly making its way through the city, and lots of vampires are becoming addicted to it. It is for that very reason that the Mayor wants to legalize it. If it becomes legal, he can make a killing off the money Faust will bring in. Unfortunately, humans do not like the idea of it being so readily available because of the few cases where it has made vampires act out, and not in a good way. The minute Zephyr hears that several vampires who drink Faust have died suddenly, she suspects foul play. Seeing as how the man she likes, Amir, is responsible for Faust's circulation among vampires and not to mention the small fact that she is a member of Friends Against Faust, Zephyr feels obligated to find out what is rotten in the state of Denmark. The more she digs the more she becomes linked to the killings. It does not take long for the accusations to start being pinned on her. Zephyr will go to great links to prove she is innocent, and find the real person responsible for the vampires' murders. |
