Angela Knight returns in spectacular fashion to the world she introduced in Jane’s Warlord with WARRIOR. 

Jessica Kelly is an artist waiting to be discovered.  She’s also the object of an assassination plot from three hundred years in the future.  Galar Arvid is a genetically engineered Warlord and temperal enforcement officer.  He’s also from the twenty-fourth century.  His mission?  To protect Jessica from the assassin if, and only if, it is a time jumper.  If it isn’t?  He gets to watch her die.

Galar’s icy exterior hides a man full of deep desires.  Jaded from his last girlfriend, who tried to kill him, the last thing he thinks he needs is a relationship with a “primitive.”  From the first time he sees her, Galar wants to indulge in the passion he has been denying himself.  Before he can do that, however, he has to keep her alive and discover who is responsible for the threat.

Jessica Kelly has lived life under the mantle of “white trash.”  She doesn’t feel as if she deserves love, much less from a prime man like Galar.  But she wants him.  Before she can move on with the future, she has to settle the details of the past.  Unfortunately, she has no more of an idea why someone wants her dead than Galar.  Plucked out of her time, her element, and her life, she has to decide just how far she’s willing to embrace the new one.

WARRIOR is an action packed ride that’s joy to the senses.  Ms. Knight drops in twists, turns, and surprises to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.  If there was a rating of more than five, this book would have it because it has it all.  Action.  Romance.  Love.  Betrayal.  Characters so real the reader can almost feel them breathing as they run from danger and their mounting emotions toward one another.
