Kyn, Book 2 - Vixen

Vixen is unhappy at being forced to wear a dress at all, let alone a peach bridesmaid’s dress.  She is convinced that she looks a complete fool.  Little does she know that her crush, Kalen, is imagining the dress crumpled on the floor of his bedroom.

The kyn’s only female warrior has worked hard to get where she is and she’s happy to be one of the boys.  It’s the whole being feminine thing that confuses her.  As always, Ms. Carter doesn’t waste time before letting loose the quips and action with this story.  Seeing Vixen in her bridesmaid’s dress makes warrior Kalen take more than one lustful look.  He cannot believe that Vixen looks so good in a dress.  Not that he intends for her to wear it for long. 

It’s not just Kalen who wants Vixen, the pixies want her badly enough to refuse to take no for an answer.

Ms. Carter’s world building and vampires are fascinating; and I don’t intend to let the grass grow under my feet before I grab my copy of the next book, FERAL.  I hope that that I will soon get an answer to the question, ‘Just what do the Pixies want with Vixen?'.
