Vision Captured

Chantelle Drap or Chan to friends is part leopard part human who sees visions of the future.  She worked late this evening.  She is walking home in the rain enjoying the fresh scents all around her as she thought about the headline on the website Panrhera Incognita.

Josh Bard is also part leopard and part human he was hired to find Chantelle.  He was hired by a man known only as Leo Pard, who is gathering leopard-human people who could see visions of the future.  Her brother Charles is married to Josh’s sister Jenny.

Josh was waiting for Chan in the hallway of her apartment building when she entered from the stairwell.  She scented him before she walked down the hallway.  She wondered what he was here for.  No one would collar her and make her live the way they wanted to.  She would fight tooth and toenail before that happened.  When Josh asked if she was Chantelle Drap she denied it and entered her apartment intent upon ignoring him.  She went about her normal routine as she got her dinner and fired up her laptop to read the story from PI that she was thinking about on her way home.  Josh is intent upon keeping her safe from Leo but she thinks his story is nothing but a lie.  Chan admired the rogue's looks and scent, it had been too long since she had been with a man.  Josh admired Chan and thought she was hot.  Would Chan let him catch her?  Would Chan tame the rogue Josh?  Did Leo Pard truly exist and was he a danger to Chan?

Only time would answer those questions as I continued to read to unveil the mystery of VISION CAPTURED.  I was turning pages rapidly, so intent upon unveiling the truth.  From the first sentence to the last Ms. O’Clare captivated my attention, drawing me into this story so effortlessly.  If this was in print it would hold an honored position on my book shelf.
