Twilight: A Bay City Paranormal Investigation

Sam Raintree is a powerful psychic. He works with the Bay City Paranormal Investigations. He loves his job and his fellow ghost hunters have become his family, especially his boss and lover Bo. At the moment the team is on a trip with a group of amateur investigators in Asheville, North Carolina. After almost losing his lover during their last investigation, Sam is glad to be on relatively safe territory.  

Dr. Bo Broussard would be happy never to see a portal again. He has done a lot of thinking after he almost lost his life. He realizes how much he loves Sam. As a result, he and Sam have reached an understanding, they are trying to comprise and improve their relationship. However, Bo is still wary of taking their relationship public; he fears what others will think of him and his lover.

What started out as an easy investigation suddenly takes a very serious turn when a woman approaches Bo with a request to investigate her inn located in a remote area of the North Carolina Mountains. She believes to everyone’s dismay that there is an interdimensional gateway. Despite his misgivings Sam knows they have to check it out, after all he is the only one with the power to close a gateway.

TWILIGHT is the third novel in Ally Blue’s Bay City Paranormal Investigations series. I had a lot of fun reading this book partially because I am a huge fan of paranormal investigation, and also because Ms. Blue’s characters are well-developed and likable. Sam and Bo are scorching hot. I really enjoyed the way their relationship continues to develop during the course of the novel. The plot is at times scary and the mystery kept me enthralled until the end. Newcomers to the series will find this book enjoyable and intriguing, and fans will be quite pleased as well.
