Cadon thought retirement was a time of rest and peace.  Things are not going as planned.  He realizes that his replacement as alpha is not doing a good job and that could mean trouble for the pack.  In the middle of all this chaos, he meets a human woman who turns out to be his mate.  Now she is in the middle of his war and he must keep her safe at all costs.

Cadon is a man used to being a leader and when he finds out that his pack is not being run correctly, he automatically wants to step in and fix it.  Sensual doesn’t even begin to describe this man and the fiery love scenes are just an added addition to the plot.  Brielle is heroine and a simple woman who loves to make candy.  Cadon is everything she wants in a man and more.  Cadon and Brielle just click and it’s enjoyable to watch them spark off each other.  Colette Denee is an awesome author that has penned a sparkling love story that will stay with you long after it’s done.
