Darynda Jones continues to entertain. I was thrilled with her last book, SECOND GRAVE ON THE LEFT. But THIRD GRAVE DEAD AHEAD is even better! Each Charley Davidson book manages to stay true to the characters while outdoing the previous book in wit, character development, and outstanding plot lines. The mysteries are as much fun as Charley and her friends.
In THIRD GRAVE DEAD AHEAD, Charley races to find a missing woman, deals with her father, faces a biker gang, and tries to shake the police tail on her while evading her boyfriend, who happens to not only be Satan's son, but a fugitive of the law as well. The multiple conflicts in the story blend seamlessly. And even though I read through the book twice, I’m still not sure how Jones managed it. She’s an amazingly skilled author.
I eagerly await the next Charley Davidson novel, praying there will be another. This is one series that is both hilarious and heart-warming. THIRD GRAVE DEAD AHEAD is a winner! If you haven’t read a Darynda Jones book, you’re really missing out.
