Cassie and her best friend Lin find themselves in a dark and strange place.  Both of them have pounding headaches.  Cassie struggles to remember what has happened.  They were celebrating Lin’s pay raise at a nearby bar.  At a  human bar a man offered them each a drink to celebrate, Cassie’s senses told her nothing bad so they accepted his offer.

Lance is on the stairway of a coliseum when a woman slams into him hard.  He reacts quickly to keep her from falling.  She is being followed by men in black gowns.  She pushes away from him and continues to run.  Lance braces himself for the coming attack as he hopes to protect the women.

Cassie and Lin have broken out of their dark room.  They hear chanting in the distance; neither likes the sound of it.  They quickly race away then they hear metal clanking as their room is discovered to be empty.  He opens the door to the stairway and discovers the women upon the stairs.  Slamming into Lance and pushing away from him Cassie hopes he won’t die for her as she watches him fight from a distance.  Will Cassie and Lin escape?  Will Lance win his fight against the evil men?  Why has Lance become important to Cassie?

Ms. D’Amario rocks.  I absolutely loved THE MOON:  TIGRESS BY THE TAIL.  It contains everything I love in a book, sex, good vs.: evil, great plot and lots of action.  Any paranormal fan that passes this book by just doesn’t know what they are missing.  This book if in print would be a cherished keeper on my bookshelf.
