The Mating Moon

For a were-tiger like Ivy, the full moon is a sensual and sexual stimulant to use or avoid depending upon her mood.  If she were to find the right were-tiger she would use this stimulant if not she would avoid its use.  Her twin Ian is trying to set her up on a blind date.  He thinks she needs to be mated to a strong male to protect her and watch over her.  She on the other hand wants nothing to do with any domineering male.

Edge is a were-tiger like Ivy, but from a different pack.  He teaches young weres how to handle themselves and to be happy with who they are. He is a friend of Ian’s and was to be introduced to Ivy later the next day.  He unexpectedly meets Ivy when he saves her from Mark, a werewolf from her old homestead.

When Ivy was younger she inadvertently killed her date Chad;  at least that is what was suspected at the time, since Ivy has no clear memories of that night.  Mark, a pack brother of Chad’s is out to get Ivy for what happened.  Ivy only has her brother to turn to now since they moved away from their pack.  Ivy fainted after her run in with Mark, and wakes up to find herself in Edge’s lap.  Ivy is immediately attracted to Edge, but does he feel the same?  Will Ivy ever remember what truly happened that night with Chad?  Edge knows on sight that Ivy is his mate.  Will she accept his attentions?

THE MATING MOON is a great read.  I liked watching Ivy blossom into a well rounded woman.  Edge is the epitome of a man most women would adore on sight. Ms Christopher, an up and coming author has given us an excellent paranormal read, I cannot recommend this book highly enough, definitely one for your bookshelf. This was very well done.
