Blake Mareson could not believe his luck...he had found the perfect woman in the godforsaken club in the godforsaken city of New York!!! Blake was a man with a past on a mission to Vermont to hide away his secrets. He is traveling with four horses and using modeling jobs to get the money he needs for his new life. Finding a woman was the least of his concerns and yet after meeting Dr. Cassie Stone he cannot let her get away. However, after hearing of her aversion to cowboys Blake does not think he stands a chance with her but a chance meeting at a sidewalk café changes that perception. He and Cassie talk and realize that they have more in common than they first thought. THE LAST STALLION is a sweet love story about renewal and trust. Both Cassie and Blake are running from their pasts hoping to start afresh in New York. I liked the relationship between these two because they decided to look beyond damning first impressions and give each other a second chance. We all need and deserve second chances.
