After becoming uneasy by her inability to locate her best friend Natasha Hemingway decides to turn to her lovers, Xavier Richards and Darian Alexander, for help. But when tragedy strikes it will be up to Natasha and Xavier along with some outside help to prove Darian's innocence. Natasha must team up with some antagonistic people and will have to use her gift of sight if she has any hope of freeing her lover.

While on her mission to find the people or person responsible for framing Darian, Natasha deepened her relationship with Xavier and also manages to come to an understanding with her hostile allies. Natasha also begins to come to grips with her feelings and desire for Xavier and Darian and decides to take a chance with them and entrusts them with her heart.  

THE GUILTY INNOCENT, the second installment of the Knights of the Darkness Chronicles, was simply fantastic and will have readers incapable of not reading it in one sitting. I greatly enjoyed the first installment in this series but THE GUILTY INNOCENT had me enthralled from the first page. The relationship between Natasha, Xavier and Darian will spark feelings of tenderness and desire within readers. If D.N. Simmons continues to write such captivating novels I am confident that she will fast become a must read author. I can't wait to find out what more is in store for Natasha, her lovers, and her friends.
