It’s taken a year and a half of traveling all over Europe; but, Bree Lancaster Jacobs was finally ready to return home after the death of her beloved husband.  Instead of having a joyous reunion with her mother-in-law, Bree learned that her mother-in-law had been deceived of her hard earned savings by a corrupt investor.   Bree would stop at nothing to find her mother-in-law’s money and to stop the crook before he took advantage of another harmless victim.  A perfect opportunity came quickly for Bree after she learned that Mason Dade, the deceitful investor, frequents a local strip club.

As a private investigator, Finn Calder hated working the cheating spouse cases; however, as a favor to an old friend, Finn agreed to found out with whom her sister’s husband, Mason Dade, was cheating. Finn thought the best place to start was at a strip club where the suspected husband was a regular visitor.   All Finn wanted to do was to sneak into the private dancer’s room, plant a spy camera and collect incriminating evidence against Mason; instead, to Finn’s surprise the stripper was already in the room and proceeded to perform the most erotic lap dance that he had ever experienced.  

It soon became apparent to both Finn and Bree that they were after the same man and when Mason was found dead, they decided it would be in their best interest to work together.   As they dug deeper into Mason’s murder, it wasn’t long before the killer turned his sight on them.   Passion quickly ignited between Bree and Finn and, to top that off, both were hiding secrets from one another and afraid to come clean for fear that their passionate relationship would not survive the truth.  

From the very start until the spine-tingling end, I was completely spellbound by Sydney Somers’ DON’T LET GO.   This novel had it all – thrilling suspense, great murder mystery and super-hot romance.   There was never a dull moment within DON’T LET GO. The s uspense was woven at an astonishing pace through this story and it kept me on the edge of my seat while the numerous passionate encounters left me breathless with enormous desire.  

DON’T LET GO is the second installment in Ms. Somers’ SPELLBOUND series and it is a stand alone novel.
