Axom is a panther when he’s not in his human flesh. He must convince Caro that she made the right choice in picking him over Ranal. However, Ranal is being a sore loser.
After burning some energy on the treadmill Caro joins her running club for a run in the park. Axom and Ranal are running with them today. They want to prove that they have the speed to keep up with Caro. They have completed their run when Caro makes her choice known. Ranal does not take it well. Axom is escorting Caro home when a snarling wolf jumps onto the path in front of them, it is Ranal in animal form and Axom quickly transforms into a black panther. Who will win this animal fight and will Caro be pleased with the winner?
Since this is book four in the SILVERWOOD SISTERS series and my first glimpse of it, I highly recommend that you read these books in order. Something occurs in Carolyn's youth at a camp in Silverwood that draws I believe six girls together in a tight bond of sisterhood. That camping trip prepares Carolyn for the story told in SISTERS OF SILVERWOOD BOOK 4: CHASING CAROLYN. It was very well written and let's face it deep down we all want a supernatural talent that makes us standout in the crowd. This story perked my interest and I would like to have the entire series in hand as I believe this to be a "keeper." Ms. Grace has done well.
