Kaitlynn has always had the ability to see auras around the dead, and the aura she sees in the ashes is like nothing she has ever seen. She can tell Landon knows more than he's letting on. Unfortunately much as she would like to focus on this mystery, she's got a bigger case to solve. Someone is stealing pulsar guns, and she suspects it's the newly reformed Garroters – a group of fanatical vampire hunters. There may even be Mafia ties involved. Kaitlynn just needs to get into that weapons factory and snoop around. It becomes clear that she's on the right track when people in high places try to remove her from the case. Kaitlynn has pulled Landon in to help. In the midst of this major case, she can't stop the feelings that are growing for him, but every time things look good for them, Landon pulls away.
Landon is haunted by a secret he hopes Kaitlynn never finds. Right now he just wants to focus on helping his pack and on keeping Kaitlynn safe. When the action heats up and the answers become clear, it will reveal an enemy no one is prepared for.
SCIONS: ISURRECTION is a fabulous sequel to Scions: Resurrection. Patrice Michelle has done another wonderful job. Landon and Kaitlynn were meant for each other from the beginning. After his secret is revealed and they are both able to forgive and live on, then they are finally able to truly show the love they have for one another. With Landon and Kaitlynn we learn a little more about the prophecy mentioned in book one. Thankfully there's more of the prophecy to be revealed, and I can't wait to see what else happens.
