Tam and Jax have found their heartstones and have become a mated couple. While their male pairing is rare, they have settled into their home and their relationship is thriving.  Each will do anything for the other and so when Tam mentions having to travel to Settler’s Mine, Jax doesn’t question the reason and the two men leave their home.  Tam does not know why he needs to go to Settler’s Mine, just that he needs to be there.  When the pair see Kiann frantically hunting her heartstone, things start becoming much clearer.

Kiann must find her heartstone.  On the run, she is barely ahead of her controlling stepbrother.  Kiann knows that her life could be over if he catches up with her because despite his intentions otherwise, Kiann is the rightful ruler of Ebolia.  Diligently searching for her heartstone, Kiann is helped by two gorgeous men with their own stones.  Imagine the triad’s surprise when Kiann uncovers a glowing red heartstone that pulses in tune with Tam and Jax’s. 

THE WOMAN is not a typical ménage in such that the men are already bonded and committed to each other.  While Tam knew and believed that Kiann was their third mate, Jax was not as easily convinced. His acceptance of Kiann reasonably took more time. Mechele Armstrong wrote this intricate relationship in such a way as to be realistic and compelling.  Add in a deceitful stepbrother as a villain hell bent on Kiann’s destruction and readers will utterly enjoy this novel.  THE WOMAN released April 22, 2008 from Loose Id.
