When he realizes what she has done he breaks into her basement to rescue her because unless Penny gives in to her primal instincts and mates, she will become feral. Cade wasn’t planning on becoming a mate but with the way Penny smells and the way she makes him feel, Cade doesn’t look on their mating as a hardship.
MOON MADNESS starts out with a bang and never lets up. Penny’s lack of knowledge concerning her welfare was just the right touch to add to the plot. Cade was sinfully sexy and a gentleman to boot. He found himself wanting to protect Penny, no matter that she didn’t want his interference. Penny’s character was stubborn but likeable. She was unsure of her body’s reactions and as such, wanted to make sure she did not hurt anyone.
If anyone else would have found Penny I don’t think MOON MADNESS would have been as enjoyable or as naughty. Cade and his steamy personality made MOON MADNESS the erotic and sexy book it was. Mina Carter is an author to watch!
