Cassandra has joined Heather and Graham on their camping trip.  Meeting a new guy like the brawny paper towel guy was her deciding factor.  However, thus far she has met those with spare tires.

Cray finds Cassie trying to put her tent up and not having much luck.  He offers to help her out.  He arrives in time to save her from a fall as she hasn't eaten in a while and all that bending and getting up while struggling to put the tent together has left her wanting and needing energy to re-supply her body's needs.  He is camped much farther up the hill.

Cassie thinks she might have found her brawny man after all.  She invites him to spend time with her despite Graham's current attitude toward Cray; it could be attributed to jealousy.  Cray has the better built body of the two.  Or maybe it is a male dominance thing.  Cray doesn't trust Graham; he thinks the women are in danger.  Could Cassie be his one true mate?  He certainly desires her strongly.  They set a date for an all day hike.  Could this be the beginning of a relationship?

I liked Ms. Leigh's twist on a damsel in distress leading into a relationship in LYCAN LORE.  Women everywhere will want to meet Cray on a camping trip.  He can rescue me anytime.  I liked the growing relationship between Cray and Cassie; I even wished I could have been Cassie.
