Three was confused. On a routine mission to collect plant specimens from Earth, he crashed his shuttle in a garden, and then found himself trying to deal with the frustrating owner of the land. Not only did she confuse his logical mind, but she also stirred feelings in him that he had never had before, feelings that he had no idea what to do with. Luckily for him, Lucy knew how to take care of him. But when Three’s superiors discover Lucy on the ship, will Three be able to keep her safe?
With a hilarious heroine and a sweet hero, LUCY IN THE SKY is a fun romp from start to finish. Lucy cracked me up, she was so non-linear and wacky, in many ways she reminded me a bit of myself. The way she rationalized things when Three first appeared and her thought processes in general were just really a hoot. Poor Three, he had no idea what to make of the female he found himself with, but he managed rather well. I felt so sorry for him at the beginning of the story, because he had such a sterile existence, but Lucy made his life so much better. The chemistry between the two of them was red-hot, and the setting provided some very entertaining love scenes. Well done!
