Alexa Martin is a shape shifter, half woman and half wolf.  She ran from her alpha when he said she couldn’t marry a human.  A human couldn’t handle what she is according to her alpha.  She’s falling for her neighbor Jesse, could he be different?

Jesse Farrell is lean and muscular.  He works with the sheriff for their small town of Palmetto.   He’s always home by one am unless he has paper work to fill out.  Tonight it’s raining and he’s forgotten his house key on his counter before work.

Jesse rings Alexa’s doorbell, she lets him in as he drips all over the tile floor.   She tells him to strip and get out of those wet clothes.  She gives him a towel to wrap himself.  She’s waited a long time to see him naked.  Unknown to her until that night Jesse has been fantasizing about her as much as she does him.  Somehow they end up at her bedroom door how quickly she loses control.  Will she trust him with her true nature or will she hide it from him and hope it’s just a fling?

LINE OF SIGHT was great, it contained all of the things I expect to see in a great read.  Passion, realistic characters, good vs.: evil, and a whole lot of action.  Of course it also had that key element called happily ever after.  Jesse is a man most women would want in their lives and Alexa is what most women aspire to be.  Ms. Holt has a special gift and I am so glad she chooses to share it with others.
