Orphaned at a young age and raised by her grandfather, Alana has always felt different and like she didn’t belong. Alana inherited the gift of telepathy from her mother, although she thinks of the ability to read others thoughts as more of a curse. When she meets the enigmatic Rhys, Alana is startled to realize that she is unable to see inside his mind, still she senses that there is more to this sexy stranger than meets the eye. Alana vows to avoid Rhys at all costs, but she soon discovers that some dangers are too tempting to resist.

As a hundreds-year old Death Hunter, Rhys is feared by all vampires. He travels the globe alone, killing those of his kind who prey on the innocent. Rhys is in Kentucky to track down a lead on his evil twin when he meets a woman who stops him in his tracks. Alana’s beauty and sensuality call out to him on every level. He knows that she is meant for him, and he intends to claim her- no matter what.

As Alana and Rhys explore the attraction between them, they are unaware of the evil stalking them from a distance. Merrick, Rhys’ twin, has always been consumed by jealousy and hatred. His madness will only be satisfied by destroying everything his brother holds dear; starting with Alana.

KENTUCKY HUNGER is a dark and sensual novel by an extremely talented author. Sophis Danu has created a story with engaging dialogue, steamy romance and a hero so sexy, any woman would want to let him bite her. I thoroughly enjoyed KENTUCKY HUNGER and look forward to reading more of Ms. Danu’s work in the future.
