Kelan is an alpha

He is in New York
to help his brother move. When he decides to relax and have a drink at a local
gay bar the last thing he expects is to find his mate. Jake is everything Kelan
has ever wanted in a mate. He knows they are meant to be together but after one
night together Jake rejects him. Kelan is hurt but he refuses to give up. He
will convince Jack they belong together no matter how long it takes.
KELAN’S
PURSUIT is the third novel in Lavinia Lewis’ SHIFTER HAVEN series. I enjoy Ms.
Lewis’ writing and I was looking forward to reading Kelan’s story.
I genuinely
like Kelan. He is a good man who always puts others before himself. I really
wanted him to find happiness. At first Jake isn’t a very appealing character.
He seems cold and uncaring of others. As his past is revealed, however, I
realized he has good reasons for behaving the way he does. He is terrified of
being hurt. I found myself sympathizing with him and I was very pleased when he
decided to give Kelan a chance.
The plot is
entertaining and I especially liked the introduction of Cary into the series. I look forward to
reading more about him in the next novel in the series. Reading KELAN’S PURSUIT
is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
