An Alvian, Jaci messed up and she knows it.  She can sense the emotions and feelings moving through her body.  She knows it is only a matter of time before the people in charge figure out that she accidentally ingested experimental genes. Forcing herself to remain as unemotional as her handlers and society expect, Jaci’s freedom comes at night.  At night the two human men she is supposed to be studying but have fallen in love with, invade her dreams and keep her safe. When morning comes, however, Jaci is once more forbidden to show any emotion; to do so would make her suspect and immediately put on a list for removal.

Mike and Dave are both psychic.  Before being captured by the Alvians, they used their abilities to succeed in the business world.  Now, however, they will have to use their skills to keep Jaci, the Alvian woman whom they love, from harm.  Daily they watch the woman they adore become more and more humanlike.  When they realize that her DNA has changed and she could be on the list to be destroyed, Mike and Dave plan their rescue.  The only time they are safe to show their feelings for Jaci is through dream walking, but they both know that soon all three of them will be together.  After all, if the hum Jaci is hearing is correct, then they are Resonance Mates and will hopefully have the law on their side.

Bianca D’Arc is constantly changing and improving as a writer each and every time I read one of her books.  JACI’S EXPERIMENT is a testimony to her ability to formulate, plot, and invariably write some of the most risqué but sweetest ménages I have ever read.  Mike and Dave love Jaci - that is apparent.  Their ability to invade her dreams made me blush more than once, but luckily enough I was able to continue to read because I couldn’t put JACI’S EXPERIEMENT down.  Jaci’s characterization is perfect for this storyline.  Her swiftly changing DNA and change from unemotional alien to that of a resonance mate and lover of two men is written perfectly.

As this is the third book of the Resonance Mates series, I enjoyed seeing some characters previously introduced in the first two installments.  Ms. D’Arc even leaves readers with quite a cliff hangar at the end that has me chomping at the bit for book four.  If you are a fan of ménage love stories in which the female is the main focus, look no further.  JACI’S EXPERIMENT is the book for you!
