Conan had been lured by his superiors to the Federation to make a semen deposit.  What he didn’t expect was his own kind turning on him for helping his brother escape.  They punished him by cutting off his right hand. As darkness engulfed him and he lost consciousness, he couldn’t believe that he had been betrayed by those he had trusted.

 

As Conan regained consciousness, he learned that the Federation had exiled him to the wastelands.  Not only had they taken his hand, but they savagely removed his manhood.  Conan felt as though he had lost his will to live.  To think he would spend the rest of his life in such a maimed condition was a fate worse than death.

 

Conan was taken to cyborg maker, Pak Song, who ensured him that he would be able to make him a new bionic hand and restore his manhood with the use of his electronic devices.  Conan was doubtful that Pak Song would be able to make him feel whole again.

 

Conan’s friends wanted to get Conan back to wanting to live and found him the perfect mate.  Nebula was ordered to be sterilized by the Earth Federation when they learned she carried the mutant gene.  Being barren, Nebula was shunned by men.  In Conan’s eunuch condition she would be the perfect mate to provide for his needs.  

 

Nebula craves the touch of a man.  Conan wants to feel as though he is worthy enough to pleasure a woman.  Will these two wounded souls find the healing comfort they deserve in each others arms?

 

IMPERFECT PARTNERS – BOOK 4 IN THE PLEASURE PARTNERS SERIES is one exceptional romance! Ann Jacobs has once again proven no matter what genre she selects to write in she can offer her readers the best romance experience possible.  This is the first futuristic that I have read in over five years, but I knew after I read the excerpt from IMPERFECT PARTNERS there was no way I could resist this book.  I can’t say how pleased I was that Ann Jacobs paired two wounded souls so deserving of love and put obstacles in their path that would have destroyed the average person.  Don’t let the fact this book is the fourth in a series scare you away; I easily read it as a stand alone novel.  The other titles in the series include:
