 The year is 2093 and humanity is barely surviving. In the great frigid tundra called the Northern Waste is a woman who goes by the name of Tatiana. She is a loner whose job is to retrieve stolen items. Not only is Tatiana good at what she does, she has other skills that aid her in her fight to survive. Tatiana was once a victim of a crazed scientist who made Tatiana, her brother and sister the perfect weapons to take over the world. Tatiana has an amazing genetic makeup that allows her to read people’s thoughts and regenerate from any illness or bruise. She was able to escape and make a new life for herself. But Tatiana is just as cold as the waste land. She wants to take down Gavin Ward, the scientist who experimented on her and the man who can help her goes by Tolliver. She must find him and get the answers she is looking for because he is Ward’s right hand man.

Another man watches Tatiana and is very intrigued by what he sees. Tristan is also on a mission to stop a plague that could destroy mankind. He feels he is responsible and when Tatiana is exposed to the deadly virus, he takes her under his wing. Tatiana has no idea she may be dying, just as Tristan has no clue that Tatiana can withstand anything, even death itself. She allows Tristan to bring her into his world and when she finds out that Tristan is closer to Ward than she thinks, she may be able to get her revenge. But at what price?

Tatiana and Tristan have nowhere else to turn but to each other as Ward is close to tracking them down. Trust and the truth become so important and when Tatiana finds out what Tristan has done, she will try her best to make everything right. Tristan will work with Tatiana for a cure and to help her release her inner demons with love.

Eve Kenin first wrote DRIVEN about Tatiana’s brother, Wizard and in HIDDEN, we finally return to the Northern Waste where desperation and death rules the land. Tatiana is a truly unique, yet amazing heroine that will make you ache because of her suffering. Tristan is also like Tatiana in many ways because of his past mistakes, but from his will to fix the wrongs and the way he treats Tatiana, makes him a true hero.

HIDDEN is a wonderful action-packed sci-fi tale about survival and the will to live. Eve Kenin has already made a name for herself in the science fiction genre, and fans of her work will not be disappointed in the least. She has a way of writing strong characters and a setting that grabs you and won’t let go, right up till the last page. For the best in thrills, on the edge of your seat action and a wonderful romance, you must pick up HIDDEN and immerse yourself in the world of Eve Kenin.
