Elgar has come to the town where Isabella dwells, to make and sell his weapons, and to live his life. He did not come looking for a bride, or as they are called among his native people, a mate. Born with a tail, something that no one else within his tribe had, he has never fit in among their numbers.
Elgar meets Isabella on the day she is to be wed to a man that she does not love, nor wishes to wed. Truly the ‘odd ones out’, Elgar and Isabella find within each other what they were seeking without even realizing it.
I could not stop reading this book. GOBLIN’S BRIDE is a book that I will read many times again.
Ms. Rabiyah is an amazingly talented author. She writes with a voice that is clear, strong, and real. Her characters are well thought out, and seem as though they could be people living next door to you. They are believable, and though misfits among their kind; fit together like two halves of a whole. Also, the world where the story is set seems just like what someone could find in some of the wilder parts of our own world.
