Ethan has been on the run for eight years. Suffering and severely injured Ethan chose to remain in his cougar form vowing never to become human again. He has been alone in the wilderness all this time but now he is being hunted once again by the very same people who hurt him before.

Ethan doesn’t know why the werewolf pack has taken an interest in him again after so many years but he is malnourished and weak. He knows there is no way he will be able to survive against six wolves. It is only a matter of time before he is captured. Ethan is terrified of what they might do to him.

Bram doesn’t know exactly why his alpha is so determined to catch a feral werecat and rehabilitate him but he is glad that Doug has agreed to let him help. He remembers Ethan from years before. There is something about Ethan that has always appealed to him and he is determined to do what he can to comfort and help the werecat heal.

The author has created two intriguing and complex characters. The reader really gets an understanding of what Ethan and Bram are feeling. Despite their animals needing very different things Ethan and Bram’s human sides are very similar. Both of these men are lonely and wounded. The connection between them grows as they learn to lean on one another. FERAL by Joely Skye to be an appealing and moving paranormal romance.
