Setesh is a well-known bounty hunter and known for his dangerous and vicious reputation. He has been sent out for Carmela who is a human warrior. Setesh intends to do his job no matter what. Carmela has a way of getting under his skin, which she does and before he knows it, he’s going against his own rules and trying to help her. Will Setesh wind up losing his reputation and his heart or gaining something much more precious?
Carmela is a warrior in her own right and knows that when they send Setesh after her she will have to use every trick in the book to stay ahead of him. It doesn’t work and she finds herself in Setesh's sensual hands. Not known for being a push over or letting his prey get away, Carmela must use the only weapon she has against Setesh, herself. Can she use her cunning to trick Setesh into giving her more time or is she only tricking herself into believing she doesn't care for him?
Carmela and Setesh are like fire and gasoline, they really don’t mix and when you put them together you have an explosive situation. Carmela is a kick butt heroine that readers will love. Her attitude and spitfire mouth will have you eagerly turning every page. Setesh is dark and dangerous and you just know there is something so much deeper under the surface of that tough exterior. The plot is full of action and it never slows down. I thoroughly enjoyed COLD FUSION and highly recommend that the other books in the FEMME METAL series be read also. Alas we will have to be content with this last installment in the FEMME METAL series and hope that Nathalie Gray will come up with another equally interesting series to captivate us soon.
