Shay is the Queen of the fae; she rules those in Breena.  The wall that protects the fae from the goblins has a gap in it that the goblins have found.  In order to strengthen the border wall, Shay has married Glen.  Their union is tied into the strength of the wall.

Glen is Shay's consort.  He has recently discovered that he is of the fae as well.  His body glows when the sun kisses it, proving just as much as birthright that he is fae.  He and Shay have made the border wall part of their vows; it is their youth that once again strengthens the wall. 

Their vows exchanged, the wall reinstated and their honeymoon delayed due to the goblins, they destroy all that are in their paths.  Some of the goblins have become trapped with in the walls of Breena, others lay siege to the castle.  Will Shay's and Glen's love be enough to withstand the siege?  Will the newlyweds ever get their honeymoon?

Ms. Sfetsos writes a damn good story.  FAERIE BLOOD has all the right pieces to make it awesome.  It has mystery and intrigue; a battle of good and evil; and great love scenes.  Glen can be my personal servant any time.  He literally worships Shay and makes her feel loved.  All in all, it makes this story a keeper.
