Domenici Serafino is a dragon. He is a member of a department of shape shifters called Team Crystal, and their mission is to eradicate the people hunting them before they themselves are killed.  He knows it is his time to be kidnapped and vows to somehow find a way to escape.  When an enticingly beautiful woman appears on his private stretch of beach, Dom knows that the plan to capture him has started.  Resigned to his fate but totally aroused by Nicole and her tiny bikini, Dom invites her back to his home for an afternoon of fun.  And fun they have.  Well, until they are kidnapped and Dom realizes that the woman he thought he couldn’t trust just might be the one person in the world that fate has given him. 

 

Holy dragon fire but DEPT. 57: CRYSTAL CAPTIVE was scorching hot! Dom and Nicole’s relationship starts out with a highly intense sexual encounter that left me sweating.  Their banter and wit made me smile more than once, but the steamy loves scenes kept me squirming in my seat and enthralled completely with their story. 

 

DEPT. 57: CRYSTAL CAPTIVE by Lynne Connolly is a great addition to my bookshelf.  I look forward to reading more from this tremendously talented author!
