Reclaiming the woman Nathan loves means learning to share.  For Dana, it means discovering that having three wonderful mates ready and willing to love her and cater to her every need cannot be wrong.

Among lycans, females are outnumbered six to one.  So pack law dictates that all female lycans capable of shifting must have more than one mate.  Dana grew up with a mother who obviously wasn’t enjoying her ménage relationship; especially as it provided her with multiple abusive mates.  Dana vows to never accept anything other than a single mate.  As teens Dana and Nathan fell in love, and they planned to be mated until Nathan is pressured by his alpha father, insisting on their mating being according to pack law.  A heartbroken Dana ran off and has kept running.  For twelve years she’s been evading all shifters who might make the mistake of thinking that she’s a passive female who will submit to becoming another pack sanctioned sex slave.

Dana is lonely living amongst humans, but she is free to live her life as it pleases her.  Albeit with the added tension of always looking over her shoulder.

An unexpected encounter with rogue werewolves puts Dana in danger of rape and worse - a forced mating.  Nathan and his closest friends rescue Dana, but who is going to rescue Dana from them?

Dana’s problems with pack law are obvious.  No one wants to be used and abused.  Nathan, John and Kody show her the aspects of pack life that she’s been missing and so much more.

What I loved about this novel is the well defined characterization and plot, which distinguishes it in comparison to other ménage shifter novels.  Each of Dana’s mates are characterized as individuals rather than just the fun one, the serious one, and the intense one.  As always Ms. Langlais’ writing makes for a deliciously sexy read.  Her superlative storytelling enthralled me till the very last word.
