Vampire-born Cassia is a bounty hunter out to take care of those that give being a vamp a bad name. She happens to wonder into Moonlight & Magic one night in the midst of tracking some felonious bloodsuckers. The crew is not happy with her arrival as the nightclub doesn’t take too kindly to patrons of the vamp-kind. Who should come to her aide but the most gorgeous male she’s ever seen, unfortunately he happens to be a demon. Cassia and Tiny must face the demon king’s wrath and try to convince him to accept their bonding. If they can’t, not only do they risk being separated for eternity, but Cassia could lose her life.

 

DECEPTION & DESIRE is the third installment of Mina Carter’s MOONLIGHT & MAGIC series where we get a further look into the paranormal nightclub while following bouncer Tiny. Ms. Carter has a knack for creating sex-on-a-stick paranormal bad boys you can’t help but love and Tiny is just another fine example. I love her take on the supernatural and the grittier undertones she usually adds into the atmosphere. This tale did not disappoint as she delivers prose on the darker side laced with humor and raw passion. I definitely look forward to more insights of the Moonlight & Magic club in the future.
