As a child, Alric was betrayed by his family and, as a result, ended up afflicted with a terrible curse, which forces him to live his life trying to contain the violent appetite of the beast within himself.  Alric fears that he will never have the future that he desires; leading his people with a loving mate and children by his side.

Caasi lives a simple life with her gypsy family; traveling and performing all over the countryside.  When they arrive on the lands of Lord Glanworth, she feels the unease and tension of those around her.  When she meets Alric, Lord Glanworth, Caasi can see the man beyond the title and she yearns to ease the pain she senses inside him.

When danger thrusts Alric and Caasi together, they must learn to put their trust in each other and in the Hanged Man prophecy revealed to them by the old gypsy wise woman.  According to the prophecy, in order to free himself from the curse, Alric has to let go and surrender all, his body, heart and the past, only then will they be able to defeat the evil surrounding Glanworth and receive that which they both have been searching.

CURSED BY MOONLIGHT is an erotic, dark and satisfying read.  Ms. Melissa Lopez captures the reader’s interest in the very first paragraph and keeps it throughout the story.  Alric and Caasi have wonderful chemistry and their love scenes are both steamy and poignant.   This reviewer would definitely recommend CURSED BY MOONLIGHT to any fan of paranormal romance and I look forward to reading more by this very talented author.
