Kia is a warrior from Nerak, an utterly perfect, if slightly boring, planet.   She has come to Earth to find her cousin Mala and convince her to return home.   Kia's crash landing in the wilds of Texas damages some of her equipment and leads her in the wrong direction. She meets sexy Nick Scericino when he attempts to rescue her from a bar brawl.   Unfortunately for Nick's career, he blows his cover in a sting operation set up to bust some Russian mobsters.   He is placed on suspension while Internal Affairs investigates the bar incident.   In the meantime, Nick decides to keep an eye on the mysterious Kia in case she is somehow connected to the Mafia.

At first, Kia just wants Nick's assistance in locating Mala. Until she locates her cousin, she decides to investigate some Earth customs. Is it a fact that everything is bigger in Texas? Kia is determined to find out for herself with a little help from Nick. He knows that she is no ordinary woman, but when she confesses that she is from another planet, he has no idea what to think. However, he cannot help lusting after Kia even though he does not believe her claims of being from another planet. Will Nick and Kia ever locate Mala? If they do find Mala and convince her to return to Nerak, can Kia leave the man she has fallen in love with? Then again, how can she not return to Nerak and the family she left behind?

Before her journey, Kia has no idea what temptations await her on planet Earth. For one thing, Nerak has no chocolate.   Who would want to return to a planet without chocolate?   Another enticement is men. Nerak has no men.  

COSMIC SEX is a laugh-a-minute, out-of-this world romance.   I love Kia's quirky personality and her no-nonsense attitude. She never lets Nick get away with anything. Nick is a hero with a lot to offer once he gets over his love ’em and leave ’em attitude. The explosive love scenes scorch the pages of this amazing sexy book. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! Karen Kelley's creative writing ability and sense of humor is obvious throughout the entire book.   I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this awesome series.
