Erin leads a very simple life quite content designing jewelry and selling it in a small hometown shop.  One night while walking in the park, she stumbles across a gorgeous man.  He is injured and confused, but even in this state, Erin can feel an unusual strength in him.  Compelled to help him, she takes him home to recover, not knowing her life is about to change forever.

Galan is not your typical “man.”  He is actually a centuries old Elf who has been injured during an attack from his mortal enemy.  Elves survive off continuous supplies of natural energy by bonding themselves to land.  When Galan wakes up, his energy bond is broken, and he finds himself in a strange place with a beautiful woman.  Elves usually do not interact with humans, but without an energy source, he accidently bonds to Erin.  Now, she is his source of life, and he can not stray far from her or he will die.

Erin can’t believe she is tied to an Elf!!  She doesn’t even believe in Elves much less have time to be an Elf’s energy source - and what a tremendous amount of energy an Elf can use.  It is all she can do to eat enough to keep from being drained dry.  Erin tries to meditate in hopes of keeping him satisfied, and she finds her most supple energy supply comes from her erotic attraction to Galan.  Sexual tension creates electricity like nothing else.  Unfortunately, nothing but physical satisfaction can develop between them.  Elves just don’t mix with humans, and since  Galan’s enemy has begun to target Erin, Galan feels the sooner he is gone the better.

Now, in a race against time, Galan and Erin must find a way to stop a murderer who is determined to destroy Galan.  They must replace Erin as Galan’s energy source, and every step they take, is a step closer for Galan to leave.  How can Erin let him go?  Can Galan break apart from centuries of isolation and go against tradition to find the courage to explore his love with Erin?

BOUND TO LOVE HER is a great new twist to paranormal romance.  There is a great humor in this book that adds a soft dimension to this story, but the forbidden erotic romance puts just the right edge to the plot.  The supportive characters add special touches which sets this book apart from the rest, and the villain just defines evil.  I would recommend this book to any romance reader who enjoys a new perspective on paranormal genre!
