Gwyneth Elizabeth Radcliffe isn't happy. She knows she's to be married to a man she doesn't love, that she doesn't even like. He acts like a gentleman around her parents, but Gwyneth has seen the way he looks at her.

The day of her wedding comes and goes. Gwyneth grows to despise her husband and her parents; they did this to her. She begins escaping at night, taking her horse for long rides through the woods. Gwyneth finds a clearing with a pond where she swims and forgets about the life she now leads.

One night while in her special place, Gwyneth meets her reclusive neighbor, Damian Trombley. From the first moment she meets him, she is intrigued by him. He seems kinder and more understanding than her own husband, who doesn't seem to care how she feels.

Despite knowing how dangerous a relationship with Damian could be, Gwyneth feels pulled toward him. Will she find the love her marriage lacks? Or will their affair be discovered?

UNCAGED is a short read with a lot of emotion. It starts off a little sad, but manages to pull you right into Gwyneth's plight. You're really hoping she'll find some way to prevent her marriage, and when she doesn't you feel her disappointment keenly. When Damian comes on the scene, there is instantly hope for a happier life for Gwyneth. Jordana Winters had me so concerned for these characters; I was completely pulled into their lives. Despite the hard times she suffered, I really enjoyed reading about Gwyneth and Damian. I'm really curious to see what else Jordana Winters can do.
